| The area around Wickenburg is pure Sonoran Desert, and in the spring, incredibly lush. Wickenburg and Prescott have flourishing art communities, and wonderful events like the Desert Caballeros Ride, Gold Rush Days, and so forth. I attended a Women Artists of the West show at Canyonside Gallery, and fell in love with the area. So did Plein-Air Painters of America last year, with a wonderful show and sale at the Desert Caballeros Museum. |
