"Frenchman's Flat "
Most of those who flyfish in Southern California know
about Frenchman's Flat,
located on Piru Creek below Pyramid Lake Dam off the
Old Templin Highway I had
plans to fish here, but the spot was taken, so I snapped a
quick shot and headed on.
As you can tell, its real bush fishing (you catch more
bushes than fish), but
gorgeous. Its also condor
and cougar country, so be careful.
