| The Hassayampa runs for
quite a distance underground. But here in Box Canyon,
outside Wickenburg, it flows aboveground, sort of, during the Spring. The cottonwoods are brilliant in the afternoon light, and everything seems lush and green! The Sonoran Desert can be enchanting. I could paint this scene a dozen times over. A very small version is here..... |
