Collins Redman

Collins' work shows her love of color, shape, and texture as she paints her impressionistic views of the Southwest and other parts of the world. Her work has an authentic feel for whatever subject she is painting. We are looking forward to receiving a number of her fabulous monoprints, too.

Collins has exhibited throughout the United States, winning praise and numerous awards. Her work can be found in both private and corporate collections nationwide. She recently painted the cover for the new book "Art of the Spark" by Mary Zalmenek and had five paintings chosen for the instuctional CD "Using Color and Design in Painting, by Donna Aldrich. Collins has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The California College of Arts and Crafts, Oakland, California, where she graduated with honors. She currently teaches Painting in Pastels and Painting in Oils at Cottonwood Artists School, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She has studied with Elizabeth Mowry, Matt Smith, Desmond O'Hagen, and Kim English among others.
