I'm a fifth-generation Californian, whose ancestors arrived in San Francisco with the Gold Rush. I lived in California most of my life, and grew up primarily in the beautiful Carmel Valley area. Its a big state, with an incredible variety of scenery, and I painted every where I went - and will go in the future. In the last twenty years before moving to Arizona, I lived in LA and explored the surrounding area with the Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore...to whom I owe a great debt for introducing me to this wonderful territory.
