"Paint the Aspens" is Pinetop-Lakeside's annual juried plein air art show celebrating the beauty of fall in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona. Begun at Joyous Lake Gallery in 2005, the event is in its fifth year under the banner of the Northeastern Arizona Fine Art Association (NEAFAA), which joined with the Arizona Plein Air Painters to create an opportunity for plein air artists from all over Arizona to paint the luscious fall color throughout the White Mountains. The 2010 show is being held at the High Country Art Gallery, 592 W. White Mountain Blvd., in Pinetop, Arizona, from October 9 to October 24.
